Hello there...
My name is Nuran Wibisono, you can call me Nuran.

I’m a writer with over 14 years of experience, currently working as an editorial staff member at a media outlet based in Jakarta. My work has been featured in various platforms like The Jakarta Post, Rolling Stone Indonesia, Jakartabeat, Mojok, Pop Hari Ini, Minumkopi, and JalanJalan. I have a passion for writing about music, food, travel, profiles (including the obituary), and interviews. Occasionally, I also write sports, economics, and politics as well.

So far, I’ve published two books: Nice Boys Don't Write Rock N Roll (2017) and Selama Ada Sambal, Hidup Akan Baik-Baik Saja (2021).
At the moment, I’m writing a book on Indonesian music festivals and music tourism, based on a thesis I wrote back in 2013 for my MSc in tourism studies at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.

In addition to daily writing and editorial work, I run a home-cooked food warong called Glam Rock Kitchen, which opens after my regular work hours. The menu changes daily, depending on what’s available at the traditional market beneath my warong.
